a person employed to write what another dictates or to copy what has been written by another; secretary.

This is one of my favorite pieces ever because it’s such a perfect representation of how I feel about art. I think in pictures, so when I hear a word, I see a picture. Creating art is simply getting that picture onto paper in a form that matches what I saw in my head. I also live in my head; I’m a science nerd and I love the brain, so bonus everything.

This is my favorite color of chartreuse (leftover paint from another project that I had swiped onto this watercolor block). The outside white lines are the outlines of my left hand repeated 3 times. It’s intended to be reminiscent of an atom; the brain is the nucleus.
