Pampered pet? We have three indoor cats and I just bought them a cat tent so they could come on the porch with us. I might have experience in this area. I’d just seen some sweet fat cat images in my collage books, so I pulled one and enlisted my 5 year old to help with this. He helped me brainstorm things cats like. He drew them entirely on his own, with rough sketch help for the rat. The items he drew:

  • Cat food dispenser (the light on top is creative license on his part).
We have one of these and it’s AMAZING. I highly recommend if you get tired of your cats waking you up in the morning. They’ll still wake you up because they’re cats, but at least it won’t be for food.
  • Catnip leaf.
  • Mozzarella string cheese stick (our cats go crazy for these).
  • Rat/mouse.
My son messed up the first one and I had to pencil an outline to get him to try again. He draws fantastic rats but this space was just a bit too small.
  • Cat grass. Lots of cat grass (oat grass seeds from the pet store).
  • Bowl of cat treats.
  • Chicken leg.
  • Can of tuna.
