Domicile
[ dom-uh-sahyl ] a place of residence; abode; house or home.
I went pretty vanilla with this word and made a house. Except that it’s a semi-abstract modern house; the kind of home I would love to have.
This wasn’t a well-planned piece so I had to keep playing with it and work with the mistakes. If I had fully sketched this out instead of making it up as I went along, it would have turned out very different (and more minimalist). Sometimes prep work can take longer than the painting itself, but the end result is more cohesive.
