Iwis

This is an abstract based on the immediate image/layout that came to mind when I read this word. The background was leftover paint from my kid–I always wipe excess paint onto extra watercolor paper for future use.

The color scheme of the metallic teal and green was something he had chosen earlier that day. I never would have thought to put those two colors together, but because I was using that background I went with it. I enjoy the texture and simplicity of this piece, much like the definition of this now-defunct word.
