In the small blocks of time I’ve been able to paint, I’ve been really into abstracts. I think it’s the ability to push paint around without thinking too much about what’s happening. It’s cathartic, and slowly becoming easier for my overthinking brain to relax with.

After a while, I forgot where I was going with this one, because I wasn’t capturing the feeling I wanted – that of pressure and chaotic messaging. A second layer with the black wedge and directional grid and I feel like this finally communicates the flow of information with an agenda.
