trajectory:
a path, progression, or line of development resembling a physical trajectory.

Trajectory came from sketches about community. For Transcend I was thinking more narrowly, about the internal experience of receiving and learning an instrument.

Trajectory is more outward focused–the band camp scholarship side of Band of Angels. It’s about becoming part of a community, and the additional growth and influence that result from that experience.

Life never happens in a straight line, and I believe the wider the range of your experience and people you interact with, the better off you’ll be. The influence of mentors and peer relationships in a camp context for kids this age can have a life-long impact.
